Glimpses Of The Past

Vultures prey on the flesh
with their bloodred beak concealed
beneath a mask of piety
And then the darkness came
It settled in and weaved its way
it fed on fear, on our dismay
and when the last survivor falls
the pigs will have their supper
surrounded by servility
an army of cringing ghost-men
they have a sole ability
to do their master's bidding
Glimpses of the past amidst the ashes of tomorrow
signs of breath in the mirror fade so fast
how did our thoughts and dreams become so hollow?
Ashes of my youth enrich the soil that bears the seeds of my emotions
glimpses of the truth enable actions that will set you free,
so follow me
Never again
will I stand idle
as my brothers suffer
in the hands
of ruthless tyrants
They breathe the same air
as you and I
and yet their twisted mind
is deep within the cold embrace of greed
a symbiotic entity
I sense their dreamless nights
are coming to an end
retaliation will be just and swift
Glimpses of the past amidst the ashes of tomorrow
signs of breath in the mirror fade so fast
how did our thoughts and dreams become so hollow?
Ashes of my youth enrich the soil that bears the seeds of my emotions
glimpses of the truth enable actions that will set you free, so follow...
so follow me
Vultures prey on the flesh...

Towering walls and iron bars on the windows
The armored gates are open wide
Step by step I'm moving closer to the answers
What secret lies beyond the veil?
I've been wandering in this prison
where all the guards are left in chains
And there's a shadow in the distance watching me
a face with piercing strong-willed eyes
His eyes staring right into my soul
so deep, rich with expectations and with hope
My heartbeat hammering, electrified with awe
the last piece is in place, the puzzle now is solved
as if a thought was born into my mind anew
but terror seized me in his claws, I had to run away
but now I know the way...
I returned to familiar places and felt
like nothing ever happened
My mind was trying to erase and conform
but I said to myself: Open up your eyes
And see
The shadow welcomed me, with ever glaring eyes
a chain laid in his palms, extended to my reach
he said "this is your life, unless you choose to fight"
and then he vanished in the dark and led me to the door
From the depths of human history
Men in shackles struggling to break free
as the types of slavery differ and evolve
material mental and imaginary
Chains

Falling Leaves

I can feel your breath, on my lips,
Like the wind of a long forgotten spring
You haunt every step I take,
As if you can reach into my soul
This melody brings back the memories of blissful times
a scent of falling leaves, the song of winter rain
sweet music echoed as my lips reached hers,
Am i dreaming still?
this reverie faded into my demented reality:
warmth in my heart gives way to hatred, cold and merciless
The burden of your loss, my oath to swift revenge
my aching heart is longing for the end
A victim of a never ending war will never rest in peace
So, shall I end my life in shame?
No!
Submission is their game
My mental shackles are undone
I rest in thoughtful silence
Weaving the deadly nets of fate
How else can the nameless dead be avenged?
I stand alone, the barrels still smoking
and the rain is cleansing their sins
The memories have changed me and darkened my thoughts
by healing they hardened my will
I am clenching my fists, swallow the tears
and taste the blood of my wounds
The world now means nothing, I am in for the ride
I am coming home to you...
This melody brings back the memories of blissful times
a scent of falling leaves, the song of winter rain
sweet music echoed as my lips reached yours,
-am I dreaming still?
This is our home, our secret trove of memories
where you and I shall live again...
Rest now and clear your mind, leave the past behind
we will, now, shape this earth will blossoms of our love

Fight for your dreams to come to life
and wake into tomorrow, with newborn dreaming eyes
deny the proclamation that the worst are yet to come
bleed the pigs, eradicate their kind
We have dreamt for so long now
for some, the dream is life and awakening is death
you could just say that ignorance is bliss
is that a chance you are going to take?
We live and breathe, but do you call this living?
the system feeds on our thoughts and dreams
Mind control disguises slavery as freedom
our dream, a reverie caught in the grinding wheels
arising,
unveiling life
How do you take a life?
you pull the switch
or draw the knife,
or deprive a man of dignity and hope
What does it take to live?
is misery a part of life
or is it wrong, are we deceived,
are we deceived?
No!
How do you change the world?
you shout the truth
is no one there,
to listen, to raise the flag and fight?
Are you the fighting man,
or is it me
or anyone who really cares
so take the first step and make your stand
Make your stand!
